Located on Vineyard Drive, Linne Calodo is the personal label of winemaker Matt Trevisan. We are familiar with the label because it has been a cult favorite with wine affiants for years. Linne Calodo produces 5,000 cases a year and purchasing wine begins with an allocation list. Recent critical acclaim pushed this label into the spot light and we were exited to experience the new tasting room with walk-in hours. We encountered tasting staff sharing soil information with two patrons when we arrived. The monologue was great, but she insisted on finding a tasting room manager when she realized we were listening. We polity asked if we could hear the remainder of what she had to say and received a firm “no.” One tasting fee ($20), waived per two bottle purchase. Best practice is to have an appointment or thick skin.
