Located on Vineyard Drive, Opolo Vineyards has a new patio and small bites menu. This location has become our favorite stop for lunch when we are unprepared on the wine trail. Opolo completed their new tasting facility in February 2016. It includes a new indoor tasting room and a patio area with shade and lounge seating. The neighborly atmosphere created by owners Rick and David over 20 years ago remains, we still recommend this location for beginners. The tasting room is pouring Paso Robles favorites like Zinfandel, Merlot, and Syrah. Featured with this review is a wood fire pizza with Barbera. Each menu item comes with a glass of Opolo wine, additional glasses are $8. Don’t miss the Cevapi lamb sausage. Enjoy a tasting flight for $10 or a wine and cheese pairing for $25. Private tours include vineyard designated wines, the barrel room and a hill top tasting. Please visit the Opolo website to schedule your experience. Due to the professional kitchen dogs are are welcome on the walking trails only.
