Located along Oakdale Road, Red Soles Winery is pouring estate wines and distilled brandy. It is not uncommon to see Randy and Cheryl Phillips in the tasting room pouring wine and talking with patrons. These winemakers stumbled upon the name of their label while admiring each other’s red stained feet. The tasting room is serving Tempranillo, Granche and Cabernet Sauvignon made from the Willow Creek District. Rod Soles is pouring distilled spirits like Un-aged brandy, Absinthe and Limoncello, Our favorite selection was the fortified dessert Viognier. Enjoy six wines ($15), waived with a two bottle purchase or Charcuterie ($15). Outside food is welcome in the picnic area surrounded by grape vines and large oak tree.

  • Absinthe Verte
Red Soles Absinthe Verte is crafted using a Bohemian-era Montpelier recipe that gets its rich herbal depth from a combination of lemon balm, hyssop, peppermint, coriander, angelica root, and of course the holy trinity. Our special blend, based in fine California brandy, and our painstaking attention to detail have resulted in a delicious and refreshing herbal spirit that can (and should) be enjoyed year round.
  • 2014 Achilles Weakness
A timeless blend of Garnacha, Syrah, and Mataro, this wine has an incredibly focused fruit nose, jumping right out of the glass with raspberry and plum aromas. Soft and silky on the palate, with red and black fruit flavors that linger on the finish.

Our house-made Brandy is distilled from premium wine grapes, without the addition of yeast or sulfites. Smooth flavors and aromas of Green Apple, Pear, and Black Licorice shine when served neat, but this top shelf spirit is equally delicious mixed in your favorite cocktail!
  • 2015 Chardonnay
Delicate fruit notes of lemon zest with plush mid palate and a long, sweet finish. This wine was fermented using native yeast and went completely through malolactic
  • Cinnamon Hooch
We start out with our unaged Brandy, then re-distill it a second time with fresh cinnamon sticks. The flavor is warm and spicy. Perfectly good on it's own, a great mixer too.
