Shows excellent power and focus on the relentless, spice-tinged finish, which features harmonious tannins and a touch of candied rose.

The nose has a rich soy and earthy black plum, licorice, blackberry overlaid with notes of spruce. The palate entry is lean and tightly focused cocoa and warm notes of fresh blackberry and focused, crisp red berry.

Inky ruby. Blackberry liqueur, licorice, pipe tobacco and mocha on the highly perfumed nose. Plush, broad and deep but lively as well, offering sappy dark fruit flavors and notes of candied flowers and vanilla. Bright acidity adds focus and lift to an impressively long, smooth and subtly tannic finish that repeats the floral note.

A fruit forward nose of blackberry, blue plum, violet and camphor. The palate is focused on lush fruit with a solid acid structure and notes of delicate florals.

Well-structured, this combines pure, ripe, juicy blackberry, wild berry and cherry notes with dusty cedary oak and loamy earth shadings. Firms nicely on the finish.

The nose is beautifully cut cherry and savory mushroom with sweet notes of tobacco and nutmeg. Firm and youthful on palate entry with bright, crisp red fruit – cherry with notes of cranberry and carbon. Great texture and vitality.

Glass-staining ruby. Vibrant, oak-spiced cherry, black currant and floral pastille aromas are complemented by suggestions of vanilla and mocha. Sweet, seamless and penetrating, offering intense dark fruit and spicecake flavors and a repeating vanilla quality. Shows excellent clarity and power on the persistent finish, which features repeating spiciness and smooth, slow-building tannins. This wine was raised entirely in new French oak and wears it nicely.

On the nose, there’s that dark plum note that says Malbec. Mixed with dark cherries that carry vibrancy and a savory note. On the palate you can immediately taste the effects of the Paso Robles limestone soils. A refinement of structure. A merging of tannin and minerality. Opaque ruby. Black raspberry, cherry compote and woodsmoke on the powerfully scented nose. Fleshy and expansive, offering concentrated red and blue fruit flavors and a subtle note of candied licorice. Picks up spiciness and energy with air and finishes on a smoky blue fruit note, delivering impressive thrust, clarity and persistence.

The nose shows aromas of peppercorn, meat and a sweet/savory spice carried by lively, focused blackberry. The palate continues the seductive blackberry density from the nose, vibrant and richly structured, finishing with a dry, grippy texture.

Inky ruby. Smoky blueberry and cherry liqueur aromas pick up a peppery nuance with air, along with a suave floral quality. Fleshy and seamless on the palate, offering concentrated black and blue fruit flavors and hints of violet pastille and cracked pepper. Spreads out and becomes spicier on the juicy, impressively persistent finish, which is framed by supple, slow-building tannins.

It offers ripe and concentrated blackberry and cassis fruit with a rich and luscious mouth feel. Aged 27 months in new and used oak, it is perfectly balanced with beautifully integrated sweet oak, soft round tannins and a long finish.

Solid aromatics of black fruits, carbon, currant and violet. The palate offers some densely packed flavors with well- balanced structure. Luxurious blackberry, spice box and oak coupled with solid acidity suggest lots to enjoy down the road.

The nose is a polished, sweet spice box of red fruit, mint, cedar, and blue plum. The palate entry is sleek dark fruit with a minty slightly puckery core of youthful fruit and oak that comes together with air. Needs a year to open.

The nose is a fine and lively velvety red raspberry with notes of blueberry, blossoms and honey. The palate entry is crisp and bright with a red berry and mineral core. A well-defined, silky finish. Tasted twice.

It boasts very ripe aromas of huckleberry and plum with an earth/stem component. While full flavored it is still very young and tightly wound with high acidity and firm tannins on the palate with hints of loam and cocoa powder.

The nose is fragrant violet pastille, black rasberry and briar. Subtle notes of grapefruit skin and cherry. The palate has a lush fruit entry complemented by firm acidity and supple red fruit/spice in the core.
