  • 2014 GOLD Barrel Select
Like our 2014 Monopole, the Barrel Select has a nose of cherry & fresh berry, but boasts more cedar, vanilla and plum on the nose. Bigger on the palate with a defined, velvet structure, the Gold has more notes of nutmeg and baking spice with a wholly smooth, silky finish.
  • 2014 Monopole Pinot Noir
Violets and ripe berry fruit show on the nose, fading to hints of leather and cigar box aromas. A favorable growing season produced a rich bodied wine with balanced acidity. Bing cherry fruit is evident on entry to the palate mingling with cedar and hints of cardamom. Drinking beautifully on release, this wine will continue to evolve in the bottle for the next 15 years, and may well become the vintage of the decade.
  • 2013 Monopole Pinot Noir
The fruit will follow with Windward’s bright Bing cherry essence so familiar to our many followers over the past 21 years of production. A seductive “middle” to the wine tasting will introduce the long, complex “peacock tail” finish that is the signature of our mature Windward Vineyard
  • 2012 Monopole Pinot Noir
The result is a unique statement for our Windward Vineyard of an intense, earthy Pinot Noir that has seductive tones of cassis that balances the fruit and adds to its layered complexity. It tastes very similar to a Nuits-Saint-George in its most successful vintages. This one drinks well now and will lay down for the next 15 years
  • 2011 Monopole Pinot Noir
Deep, ripe, berry bouquet and fruit are evident in the nose and wine entry on the palate. The extraction and mineralization follow slowly and intensify a prolonged finish designed to complement a wide variety of food pairings that will escalate to layered complexity with age. Exquisite paired with salmon poached in caramelized fennel.

  • 2015 Vin Gris de Pinot Noir
The nose is rich and floral with rose petal and strawberry aromas. The mouthfeel is lush with a wild berry, herbal burst of fruit. Cool fermentation in stainless steel and neutral French Oak created a rich, youthful body and crisp, balanced acidity producing a wonderful pairing for a summer lunch or shellfish dinner.
