Chamisal Vineyards is one of our favorite producers for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Edna Valley. Enjoy estate grown wines for $20, waived with a two bottle purchase. This tasting room can experience crowds on weekends. New guests should be made aware that the back patio is reserved for wine club members Friday-Saturday. Non wine club members are welcome to enjoy the front patio and standing tasting bars. Snacks are available for sale inside but outside food is still welcome. Winemaker tours are available during warm months (April-September) and included reserve wine tastings and cheese plate. Tours begin at $60 and can made be made with prior reservation. During winter months this label pours a Luminary red blend made from a Napa Valley grape collective. This location is SIP certified and hosts a lobster fest soirée for their wine club members every year.

  • 2014 Califa Chardonnay
    Our Califa Chardonnay opens with aromas of lemon zest, ripe pineapple, nectarine and toasted hazelnut. The palate bursts with bright nuances of grapefruit juice, Bosc pear, honeycrisp apple and slight vanilla. This is a classically luxurious Chardonnay with bright, juicy fruit and a beautiful creamy texture framed by balanced acidity.

The wine is tightly wound right now with aromas of black cherry, molasses and black pepper, and its dense, elegant palate promises great age worthiness. If you plan to drink this wine soon, please decant, otherwise we recommend laying it down for 3-8 years.

    A magnificent aromatic blend of blackberry pie and candied cherry swirl amongst layers of nutmeg and cranberry in this deep ruby wine.     This dark purple wine opens with luscious, deep black fruit aromatics with underlying spicy notes of anise, white pepper and seasalt. Luscious and broad, the palate follows suit with both fruity and herbacious qualities with additional notes of cranberry, sage, and rosemary.
