Winery
The Filipponi Ranch label is family owned and operated. This location originally began as a dairy farm and cattle ranch. The winery can be seen from Highway 101, but you can only access Calle Joaquin from Los Osos Valley Road. The tasting room was originally an old dairy house that was renovated to welcome visitors in 2015. This label is now producing 1500 cases a year and still uses manual bottling and labeling. We are looking forward to their first Alberino which is set for release spring 2018. This will complete a full line up of whites which includes two Chardonnays and a Verdelho. Enjoy a tasting flight for $10 waived with a one bottle purchase. Outside food and pets on a leash are welcome. This location also has bocce ball, jinga and horse shoes. The Shakespeare festival is hosted at this location every year in the natural amphitheater. Performers give 2-3 shows per day while the Filipponi Ranch pours the wine.

2014 ChardonnayOur 2014 Chardonnay comes from the Edna valley and displays a nice depth of aroma and flavor with lemon, apple, vanilla, honey, soft oak and spice. The mouth is creamy yet crisp with an acid kiss on the end and a long Braeburn Apple finish.
