Located in Avila Beach, the new Silver Horse tasting room is an Old School House build in 1886. This family owned label was previously located in the Templeton Gap District of Paso Robles. Winemaker Stephen Kroener moved his tasting room to See Canyon in October of 2016. We love the rocking chairs on the front patio and the private tasting areas in the backyard. Lawn games like corn hole are available to patrons free of charge and outside food and pets are welcome. Look for “School House Rocks,” on Friday Nights where live music is played 6-9 pm. Enjoy a tasting flight ($12) and choose from over 30 available wines. We tried the 100% varietal flight with cheese ($20) which includes an Albarino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Tempranillo. This location is conveniently located off of Highway 101 and has adequate parking.
