Baileyana’s True Myth tasting room is the old school house built in 1909. This location is popular on Instagram for its patio seating and picturesque bocce ball courts. The Niven Family planted Paragon Vineyard in 1973 at the foot of Islay Hill. The Baileyana label features Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, these selections can only be found in the tasting room. German varietals are being poured under the Zocker label and Spanish varietals are poured as Treana. True Myth is the wine label distributed in grocery stores, these selections are not available at this location. Enjoy a tasting flight for $15, waived two bottle purchase. This location also offers wines by the bottle and glass. Pets and picnic items are welcome in outside areas only. Look for Sunday Fun Day during summer months which include local food trucks.

The fruit on the nose is complemented with flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, creamy vanilla and hint of brioche. The delicate bubbles create a beautifully refreshing wine with a long lingering finish.

2013 Brut RoséThe 2013 Baileyana Brut Rosé is fresh and fruity and with pronounced aromas of raspberry, strawberry and candied fruit. The nose is complemented with flavors of ruby red grapefruit, cherry and a hint of hazelnut. The balanced structure and richness in flavor create a beautifully refreshing wine that is equally good on its own or with food.

2015 Edna Valley ChardonnayThis wine has aromas of white peach, honeydew,pepper,caramel,butterscotch and vanilla. It has a round, creamy mouthfeel balanced with a strong acid backbone. There are tropical flavors and a nice minerality throughout, ending with a long pineapple finish.

2014 El Jugoso SyrahThis cool climate Syrah from our Edna Valley estate is bright and juicy, beginning with aromas of blueberry and blackberry on the nose. This is a medium bodied wine with wonderful finesse showcasing flavors of vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of smoky pepper while letting the bright blueberry and plum notes shine through. The complement of French oak offers a toasty undertone that runs throughout.

2014 El Pico Pinot NoirThis vintage of El Pico is balanced and beautifully extracted with aromas of strawberry jam, cherry and vanilla. There is a hint of cotton candy along with traces of cinnamon throughout the wine. The crisp, clean fruit matches well with silky sweet oak tannins. The oak provides a nice backbone, but does not over power the balanced acidity. This medium bodied Pinot finishes with delightful strawberry notes.

2014 Halcon Rojo Pinot NoirThis Pinot Noir has aromas of cherry and raspberry with a hint of root beer. It showcases flavors of ripe red fruit, plum and molasses along with silky tannins and a very smooth mouthfeel. The light acidity is balanced with a nice oak influence that rounds out this full-bodied Pinot Noir. The finish is long and smooth with lingering flavors of supple fruit.
