This built a wine of intensity yet balance, with fruit reminiscent of ripe blackberries, blueberries and spice supported by a toasty vanilla component from approximately 38 months barrel age, 20% new French oak.

After a lengthy time in barrel, the wine is now totally integrated, with the deep berry, spice and leather character of an Old World treasure.

40% Petite Sirah/ 28% Grenache/ 28% Carignane, 4% Mourvedre

It is very aromatic with a fragrant, spicy nose of ripe raspberries, plums, candied dark cherries, clove, rose hip, mint tea, and an earthy spice that carries through to the palate. A mosaic of tannins supports the fruit and creates a supple, full body and lingering finish. Pair this wine with grilled and roasted meats, mushrooms, and dark fowl such as duck – flavors that harmonize with the earthiness of the wine.

Dark, opaque and dense, the rich black currant, plum fruit character is enhanced by a spicy, clove fragrance and an intriguing forest scent. Perhaps its finest feature is the incredible texture with silky tannins that unfold the fascinating flavors

This Syrah has the signature deep berry character with smoky, earth tones and Oriental spice.
