  • 2012 Allusion
The parade of extraordinary value continues with yet another stellar vintage of our highly affordable Allusion. The 2012 is another laser sharp Bordeaux blend featuring Cabernet Franc and Merlot blended to bring balance and deep rich fruit into your glass
  • 2009 Allusion
A saturated purple color is followed by an extraordinary bouquet of espresso, black fruits, cocoa, dried Provencal herbs and vanilla, an explosive attack, admirable freshness, and impressive concentration.
  • 2010 Cabernet Franc
Another terrific wine, the 2010 Cabernet Franc Suicide Hill has lots of ripeness in its concentrated black cherry, red plum dried flower, and Asian spice-driven bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured and layered, with polished, sweet tannin, it's certainly approachable now, yet will be better with another 2-3 years of bottle age and keep for a decade after that
  • 2011 Cabernet Franc
It has beautiful notes of black raspberry, bay leaf, tobacco and lead pencil all emerging from the glass. Pure, elegant, medium to full bodied and impeccably balanced, this is a class act to enjoy anytime over the next decade.
  • 2013 Chardonnay "21"
A delicious blend of selected Chardonnay. For thirteen years now, this wine has been one of the greatest values in it price class. And this vintage is no exception. Always a combination of the very best features that make this varietal the most popular white wine in the world. For weddings, parties, promotions, etc., this is your white. THIS IS THE LAST VINTAGE OF "21" AND ITS A GREAT WINE.
  • 2011 Chardonnay "21"
  • 2015 Chardonnay "Black Cap Reserve"
As always, the 30 rows in front of our Tasting Room somehow create magic year after year. Reliable and consistently high quality with depth of flavors focused around steel minerality and rocks. Plenty of complexity. The fruit is Dijon Clone 76 from Burgundy. This is special stuff !!!
  • 2014 Chardonnay “Black Cap Reserve”
Tons of ripe stone fruits, buttered peach, brioche, and hints of oak in a full bodied concentrated style
  • 2013 Chardonnay “Black Cap Reserve”
Focus and precision, the 2013 Black Cap Reserve has terrific notes of buttered citrus, white flowers, hints of minerality and ample brioche and toasty notes. Medium bodied, pure, polished and with both good acidity and plenty of richness, it has a forward, ready to go feel that makes me want to consume it over the next four years.
  • 2012 Chardonnay “Black Cap Reserve”
Showing some toasty oak in its golden fruits, honeysuckle, brioche and floral scented bouquet, the 2012 Chardonnay Black Cap Reserve is rich, rounded and concentrated on the palate, with lots of depth and richness while staying lively and clean. It's a rock solid chardonnay to drink over the coming 3-4 years.
  • 2015 Chardonnay Reserve
Tangerine, wet rocks, honeysuckle, white flowers, great acidity. Well structured, a blend of three different clones of chardonnay. Yet another great rendition of one of our most popular wines. Full of fruit, beautifully balanced, and structure to last. Staff tasting yesterday showed this wine was in fantastic shape with plenty to enjoy.
  • 2014 Chardonnay Reserve
Truly a spectacular chardonnay and one of the best we've ever produced. The twenty three rows between the winery and our horizontal Live Oak were planted in 1996 with Dijon Clone 76 with the hope of one day producing a wine of this majesty. The vines are nurtured growing in 8 by 5 spacing and these plants are treated like family. One of the secrets here is we chose 420A rootstock which constricts the yield thereby concentrating the fruit intensity. Steely minerality with white Burgundy nuances. It's every bit that good.
  • 2013 Chardonnay Reserve
A gorgeous version of this fourteenth vintage from our vineyard block between Alamo Pintado Road and our Winery, this is a vibrant, vigorous offering with notes of custard, oil, and apple blossoms
  • 2013 Double-Down Syrah
It's a monumental wine in this price range and I guarantee you won't be sorry. I don't know how to make it any clearer that this is something special and you should at least order a bottle to sample.
  • 2010 Double-Down Syrah
An entry level Syrah, yet outstanding, the 2010 Syrah Double Down has less density and richness than the Maximus Syrah, yet is more forward and complex with lots of dried pepper, cedary herbs, tobacco/cigar and chocolaty black cherry fruit all emerging from the glass. Medium bodied, supple and elegant, with loads of character.
  • 2014 Double-Down Syrah
Our most popular wine. Preceded by 90+ Robert Parker scores, this crowd pleaser features purplish black color. Rhone like. Incredibly ripe, rich, and bright fruit. Collaboration of blackberries, blueberries, crème de cassis, and violets. Generous wine, juicy, smoky, earthy, jubilant and just plain fun.
  • 2010 Harmonie
2010 Harmonie sports a saturated purple color to go with the spectacular notes of cassis, blackberries, singed leather, ink, and licorice. Big, full bodied and concentrated, yet not the least bit cumbersome , this terrific 2010 has loads of sweet tannin, notable freshness and purity and a blockbuster finish.
  • 2012 Harmonie
Vintage 16 in a long line of highly successful Bordeaux-blends. This one is straight off the top shelf. A "First Growth" effort.
  • 2005 Harmonie
It offers classic cassis, lead pencil shavings, bay leaf and tobacco notes in a full-bodied ripe, layered, yet elegant style on the palate.
  • 2006 Harmonie
Blue and red fruit dominate, beautiful oak, twenty years of life ahead.
  • 2009 Harmonie
A saturated dense dark color with sweet notes of crème de cassis intermixed with subtle smoke, graphite, licorice, lavender and mint. While deep, full-bodied, ripe and loaded, its high tannin level and structured style dictate cellaring this vintage for a minimum of 2-3 years. It should last for two decades
  • 2003 Harmonie
Still youthful and fresh, with an inky purple color and lots of cassis, plums, violets, wild herbs, and leather, this full bodied, voluptuously styled beauty has brilliant concentration, a supple, pure texture, and a blockbuster finish.
  • 2007 Harmonie
This is fruit purity as clean as I have been able to offer you. Chateau Lafleur is my favorite Bordeaux chateau having produced six or eight of the greatest wines of the past century and while growing this fruit, nurturing the wine, and assembling the blend my role model for the 2007 Harmonie all along the way.
  • 2014 Maximus Syrah 3 liters
A spectacular gift, even if it's for yourself. Four bottle equivalent. Not only is this a great wine, its a great package.
  • 2011 Merlot
More classic in style than the 2010, the 2011 Blackjack Ranch Billy Goat Hill Merlot is medium to full bodied and concentrated, with plenty of fruit and nicely integrated structure. Showing ample dark fruits, charred earth, smoke tobacco and sweet oak, it's hard to resist now and I don't see any reason to delay gratification either.
  • 2010 Merlot
2010 Merlot Billy Goat Hill Estate offers fabulous notes of smoked herbs, chocolate, plum and spice to go with full-bodied richness and a voluptuous sexy texture. Loaded with fruit, nicely structured and balanced, drink this serious killer Merlot over the coming decade.
  • 2011 Pinot Noir
From the now universally acclaimed California pinot vintage of 2011, this wine is representative of the year's greatness. Big, bold, deep, rich delicious red and black fruit.
  • 2010 Pinot Noir
A big, deeply colored effort, the 2010 Pinot Noir Burning Creek Vineyard Special Selection has lots of dark cherry and plum notes as well as more subtle licorice, smoked earth and leather. Ripe, nicely structured, and certainly with plenty of flavor authority, it's a Pinot that should evolve nicely through 2020
  • 2013 Pinot Noir "Alix de Vergy"
We just discovered that this wine has never before been offered on our website. This is the essence of Burgundy. Pure pinot noir fruit and its gorgeous.
  • 2014 Pinot Noir "Alix de Vergy"
Amazing purity with gorgeous fruit completely balanced by perfect acidity. An energetic bouquet jumps from the glass. Red currants, kirsch liqueur, with a silky texture. A dinner wine if there ever was one. We're happy to have this wine poured side by side with any pinot produced anywhere. Most recently putting on weight: delightful!!
  • 2010 Syrah Maximus Black Pearl
Black Raspberry, cassis, vanilla bean, and carmelized meat-like characteristics all flow nicely to a medium to full-bodied, ripe, textured Syrah that has plenty of mid-palate depth and sweet tannin.
  • 2013 Syrah Maximus Black Pearl
The 2013 Syrah Maximus Black Pearl is beautifully full-bodied, concentrated and layered. Made from 100% Syrah that spent 18 months in French Oak, it shows the house style and its fabulous concentration and richness. But, it has sweet tannin and juicy acidity as well. Drink it anytime over the coming decade
  • 2012 Syrah Maximus Black Pearl
This full-bodied elegant, beautifully pure Syrah gives up lots of black raspberries, cassis, licorice, and smoked herbs to go with the impeccable balance, sweet tannin and a great finish. Drink this anytime over the next decade.
  • 2010 Syrah Maximus Hillside Grown Estate
The 2010 Maximus offers plenty of currants, licorice, and darker fruits in its gamy medium to full bodied complex and Northern Rhone like personality. I find plenty to like here.
  • 2007 Syrah Maximus Hillside Grown Estate
The Syrah Maximus exhibits a deep ruby/purple color in addition to subtle, but sweet aromas of barbecue smoke, blackberries, cassis, licorice, saddle leather, and earth. It is a powerful, layered, ripe wine with moderately high tannin as well as admirable purity and persistence.
  • 2012 Syrah Maximus Hillside Grown Estate
Another beautiful wine. 100% syrah that was raised 18 months in French Oak barrels. Notes of blackberries, plums, olive, smoke herbs and licorice all emerge from the full-bodied, deep, rich even gamy syrah that has a killer mid-palate and ample ripe tannin. It benefits from a decant and will have 10-15 years of overall longetivity.
  • 2011 Syrah Maximus Hillside Grown Estate
The 2011 Syrah Maximus has a meaty, smoky, earthy and black-fruit driven bouquet. This gives way to a medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated Syrah that shows the cooler, fresher style of the vintage, yet still has plenty of texture and length. It's drinking beautifully today, but will hold through 2023
  • 2014 Syrah Maximus Hillside Grown Estate
A big rich, concentrated effort that offers tons of ripe blackberry, smoked earth, pepper and bouquet gami, the 2014 Maximus hits the palate with full bodied richness, a big, stacked mid-palate and a big finish. There's ample structure and density here, and it really needs 4-5 years of cellaring. Drink through 2028
  • 2013 Syrah Maximus Hillside Grown Estate
Another big, rich concentrated wine offering lots of barbecue smoke, black fruits, licorice, scorched earth and hints of chocolate in a medium to full-bodied, mouth-filling style. It has a soft mid-palate and should easily cruise through 2023.
  • 2009 Syrah Maximus Hillside Grown Estate
A 93 point wine, Black raspberry, cassis, violets, ink, leather, in other words a terrific wine to pair with beef or game. French oak in perfect balance with the fruit. Elegant yet fully concentrated.
