  • 2010 Back Seat Blonde
This incredible refreshing, lively and aromatic white blend is a definite crowd pleaser. It’s fresh and clean, thirst quenching and delicious. It offers notes of lime, grapefruit and mango with a long, lingering finish that stretches on and on.
  • 2011 Back Seat Brunette
I find myself reminding people that merlot is a grape that has so much fitness and character. This merlot has a beautiful bouquet of purple flowers, dusty cocoa cherry, the flesh of a summer plum and baking spices. On the palate it is soft and delicate with nice fruit and minerality. The tannins are well integrated and the wine is plush with ample mouth coating acidity. The wine has a lengthy finish that hits your entire palate.
  • 2011 Back Seat Redhead
An homage to the French, the masters of Pinot Noir. This is true to the style of Pinot Noir; light to medium bodied, soft and silky with red fruit aromas (just missing the terroir for this to be a true Burgundian). On the nose experience pomegranate, cranberry, and Asian tea spices. On the palate you will be refreshed with soft subtle tannins that grace your palate with juicy red berries and pomegranate seeds
  • 2013 Cabernet Franc Reserve
Aromas of rum cake, cured meats, roasted red peppers, cardamom, menthol, and earth are expressed, The bouquet is rich with earth and game that carry well into the mouth. A very long finish with power and elegance at the same time. Needless to say we are proud of it, and so will you be with it in your cellar.
  • 2013 Chardonnay
It has bright golden sparkle with hints of spring green reflections. Minerality on the palate and nuances of lemon zest, asian pear and a lingering finish sums it up. This is the wine to have before your next dinner party, You will like your guests so much more.
  • 2011 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
Aromas of Cedars, dust, dark chocolate, cranberry, cinnamon, tobacco, currants, and graphite are omnipresent. Needless to say we are proud of it, and so will you be with it in your cellar.
  • 2011 Estate Merlot Reserve
  • 2010 Estate Mon Amour
Chocolate spice, cloves, pepper, and minerality entice the nose with subtle notes of cigar box and rum cake. But that is just the nose, wait till your taste buds ignite with a rich sensation of vanilla, cedar, followed by polished tannins with great length of finish. The true connoisseur will pick up some wonderful dark fruit components in the bouquet, which will tip its hand to being one of a kind –a Californian
    original.
  • 2007 Estate Mon Amour
The color is still a deep rich garnet reminiscent of crushed blackberries. The nose reminds you of expensive chocolate with notes of cedar and vanillin. Bountiful black fruit and tight tannins lingers through hints of plum and tart pomegranate Silky smooth texture with laser focus and clarity, evolving into wonderfully balanced rich black fruit with smoldering intensity.
  • 2011 Estate Mon Amour
This iconic estate blend has luscious fruit expressions of raspberry, rhubarb, plum, white pepper, and pencil shaving aromatics. Fully complimented by a dusty, cedar, spiced and baker’s chocolate mouthfeel. Silky caressing tannins coat the tongue on the long finish, giving you plenty of time to reminisce on ones affinity with great blends commonly found in the Bordeaux region, or simply just great love affairs.
  • 2009 Estate Mon Amour
Mon Amour because we end up with a much better wine this way. Hey, life is full of hard decisions. Sometimes you reach a point where you have to make one or two. We still have the great plum and pomegranate flavors blended with ripe cherry, cola and slight vanilla. Tannins are noticable but not overpowering and and that same long soft finish leaves you aching for the next sip.
  • 2011 Estate Riesling
A full floral, stone fruit, apricot bouquet is framed with a mineral and almost kerosene like aroma. Fresh acidity on the mouth makes you salivate another sip, complimented by the rich texture on the tongue from that initial skin contact before its cool fermentation. The slight residual sugar caresses on the way down. If there ever were a balance between a seductive Troken German Riesling and elegant dry Austrian version, this would be the epitome.
  • 2011 Estate Sangiovese
Hitting all the beautiful elegant notes of cherry, truffles, rhubarb, white chocolate and nutmeg. An almost cola like bouquet to boot. All complimented by earth tones with a soft finish and just the right amount of tartness to tackle any Italian based cuisine. Our estate offering walks the line of a bold classic expression of elegance juxtaposed to a dashing rough character. Like putting the top down on a vintage fire engine red alfa-romeo spider, always commanding attention on the road.
  • 2010 Estate Sangiovese
With an initial tease of cherry, cola, cardamom, and tealeaves it is no wonder this wine pleases the palate with a rich red fruit taste and silky tannin finish. Our neutral oak barrels emulate the cask ageing found in Chianti, Tuscany. An old world grape made in a new world style, this Sangiovese was born to illustrate why California is not just great at making food friendly wines, but also to show off its adopted second home at our estate in the Santa Ynez Valley. Saluti!
  • 2009 Estate Sauvignon Blanc
The focus here is on minerality and structure. The warm afternoons encourage the grapes achieve perfect ripeness but the cool nights assure that they do not lose their acidity. The wine is aged on its lees and never sees the inside of an oak barrel. The result is magnificently layered citrus notes of ruby red grapefruit with clementine and blood orange layers. Slight minty notes and crushed dry herbs. Star bright acidity and lengthy mid palate fades very very slowly leaving a fresh impression that makes your mouth water.

  • 2011 Pinot Noir
Delicate and pretty, this Pinot Noir doesn't scream, it whispers. Soft and feminine, it lures you into deep thought. The acidity is very bright and this wine has a lot of life. It offers an intriguing blend of exotic flavors with notes of dark cherries, hibiscus, lavender and blood orange. The oak is very well integrated and barely noticeable. Those soft tannins seal the deal nicely and ushers in a very long, velvety finish.
  • 2012 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Earthy, dusty cocoa, red vibrant fruit with loads of acidity to cut through that prime steak. The body and mouth-feel of the wine is important to notate, and with lower alcohol we witness a lighter, lofty style.
  • 2012 Reserve Merlot
This wine has a beautiful, vibrant nose; at first whiff there’s a burst of sweet red apple skin, followed by plum, chocolate, clove, and tea spices. It doesn’t stop there, but rather keeps evolving with every moment. On the palate, it is rich and smooth with an everlasting finish. The wine offers bountiful layers of juicy acidity and flavors of plum, apricot, and red currant. The 2012 vintage was packed with flavor and intensity.
  • 2016 Riesling
The aromas are just so beautiful and inviting. It is perfuming with fresh white flowers, jasmine and peaches. On the palate Asian pear, stone fruits, honey suckles, with a hint of kaffir lime. Light and delicate with layers of complex fruit flavor.
  • 2015 Riesling
The characteristics and notes of this wine read much like a summer road trip diary. Starting out with aromas of sweet honeycomb and crisp pear, it then indulges you in honey crisp apple and vibrant nectarine flavors on the palate. The open road gives you a newer, more vivid perspective on the world, marked by the finish of bright acidity, apricot flavors and classic Riesling petrol character.
  • 2015 Rosé & Son Red Wine
This red blend smells a great deal like a classic Bordeaux. There is a mix of red and dark fruit, red plum, blackberry and dark cherry to be more exact, followed by leather and mushrooms. On the palate the red plum is confirmed with nice tannin structure. The tannins are present but not out of control; these will soften immensely with some bottle age. But the wine is showing great in its youth, offering a lengthy delightful finish. This will be a great companion for food.
  • 2013 Sangiovese
Immerse yourself in the fragrant aromas of leather-bound books, black cherries and black plum with a kiss of vanilla and oak. The wine is built up with a firm structure and resilient mouth-feel. Rich, integrated tannins are soft and voluptuous. Enjoy a long deep finish.
  • 2013 Sangiovese
The Italians have certainly created a lifestyle that we can fantasize about. Taking a cue from their playbook, we wanted to make wine for food and love as we pay homage to the romantics. Year after year, this wine is so consistent. Beautiful aromas of dark cherry, dried herbs, and light touches of vanilla. Enjoy a balance of fruit and oak without being overbearing. The wine is medium bodied and has a silky, elongated finish. Enjoy with your favorite person and some penne Bolognese (or primavera for our vegetarians).
  • 2013 Sauvignon Blanc
This offering reveals Sauvignon Blanc’s tropical fruit character, with grapefruit, honeydew melon, lemon, and kiwi aromas. A bouquet of straw and flint precedes and crisp acidity in the mouth with a smooth finish. An ideal pairing for sitting under an umbrella, taking in that warm California sun.
  • 2015 Sauvignon Blanc
Picture the eccentric fruit basket of your summer dreams...This wine initially lures you in with aromatic scents of gooseberry and a slight hint of crisp spearmint on the nose, quickly complemented by lemon-lime peel and succulent, tangy passion fruit. On the palate, fresh citrus, granny smith apple and peach dance around together like a jubilant ballet of distinct and refreshing flavors. Not to be outdone by itself, the finish is ripe with bright acidity and calming herbal notes.
  • 2012 Sixer
Sixer exudes aromatics of Olive, Black Pepper, Vanilla, Cedar, Tobacco and hints of floral potpourri. All with a lush mouthful of Dark Chocolate and Blackberry. Great smooth tannins with cigar box flavors persist in the mouth. A wine this bold needs 6% Viognier to tame it, or as we like to think polish it off – and we won’t blame if you do.

  • 2010 Sixer
It might be hard to believe but adding an aromatic white grape like Viognier into a bold opaque wine would not only refine it, but also make it even darker. This classic method is still used in France’s northern Rhône Valley to transform Syrah into a slightly elevated Cru status, where bacon fat and meat become garnished with lavender and violets. Sounds like the perfect adornment, and that is why the “Sixer” was born. Adding 6% Viognier allows the tar, tobacco, and dried fruit aromatics to polish off with a fresh scent of flowers and blueberries. The mouth becomes less aggressively tannic from this tiny addition, leaving our estate wine with a long smooth finish.

  • 2009 Slow Hand
The resulting elixer has great acidity and tremendous flavor. First you are punched in the mouth by honeysuckle and apricot, followed by sustained blows of figs, black tea, honey and apple. This is a once in a lifetime wine. It takes so much work to make and yields are so miniscule due to the drying that it might not ever ever happen again.
  • 2011 Syrah Black Oak Vineyard
Fragrant Lavender, rosemary pepper, leather and graphite dominates the nose. Sweet vanilla roast bouquet follows. Enticing game flavors persist on the tongue and a firm mouthfeel and great length. Definitely a darker expression of Syrah, staying true to its vineyard name.
  • 2015 Viognier
If you are ever lucky enough to someday find yourself on a distant tropical beach, there you will surely find this wine, which eagerly rushes to greet you like the flow of the tide with fragrant aromas of exotic jackfruit, apricot and wafting honeysuckle. On the palate, it serves tart mango and juicy pineapple flavors then lulls you into a state of pure contentedness with a slight herbal anise finish.
