A pure expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, the nose shows hints of truffle, espresso, subtle charcoal, and cassis while the mouthfeel builds layers upon layers of extravagant richness with its notes of dark red fruits, toast and graphite. Full-bodied, with a tannin structure reminiscent of crushed velvet, it is a very young wine that should hit its prime in about 10 years (2025). Patience will be rewarded.

The wine possesses an opaque black/purple color along with an elegant perfume of violets, as well as hints of blackberry and cassis liqueurs. The palate shows off great fruit density and concentration, with a precision, freshness and refined level of tannins that are indicative of an optimal drinking window beginning in 2018 and continuing to improve until at least 2025.
