  • 2014 Cahrdonnay Paso Robles
In the glass, this wine shows stunning golden straw hues and exudes aromas of apple, pear and a hint of mineral wet stone. The Viognier comes from the Hoyt Family Vineyard located in the heart of the Willow Creek area. The Grenache Blanc is grown at the Live Oak Vineyard, the northern neighbor of Hoyt Family. The Roussanne comes from the Caliza Vineyard which lies between Hoyt and Live Oak. These Templeton Gap District vineyards offer the premier combination of chalky soil and cooler temperatures for producing balanced and nuanced white Rhône varietals.
  • 2013 Lloyd
Beautifully deep dark reds and purples indicate the massive nature of our Estate Bordeaux blend. The warm dry vintage is expressed by ripe aromas of figs, plums, and heavy florals filling the nose. Bright acids and fall spice from Cab Franc and Merlot combine with dark fruits from fully ripe Petit Verdot to build a simply colossal wine. Huge tannins from extended maceration fill the mid-palate before the wine turns more savory and elegant. Perfectly integrated French Oak accentuates our signature chalky mineral finishing notes, marking this wine as one of the truest expressions of our terroir.
  • 2013 Messer
Impenetrably dark purple color showcases an intensely extracted wine. Exudes both dark berries and floral notes upon swirling. The rich plum and blackberry fruit from the Malbec combines with earthier Cab Franc flavors of graphite and raspberry . The two varieties also showcase opposite tannin profiles, producing a wine containing both mouth coating fully ripe tannins as well as spicier bittersweet cocoa notes. French oak combines at the finish, creating a perfectly balanced experience on the palate.
  • 2013 Mosse Cabernet Sauvignon
Showing beautiful dark purple colors in the glass, the wine radiates powerful aromas of plum, licorice and creamed honey. The weighty upfront dark fruit combines seamlessly with brooding tannins full of blackberry, tar and mineral loam. Notes of smokey cedar from the French oak integrates perfectly with natural skin and seed tannin to create the signature expansive finish of our Moose bottlings.

The dark, opaque ruby color gives a good indication of the level of extraction achieved in this wine. The nose is heavy with dark fruits and essential oil of spring flowers. This is followed by strong varietal flavors of dark chocolate, cassis and spice. Full, round, tannins produce the trademark rich chalky finish that our soil imparts on the wine. While very rewarding to drink now, will easily cellar for up to twelve additional years.
  • 2013 Syrah
The 2013 Syrah Devil's Canyon, which includes 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, spent 25 months in 40% new French oak, with no racking. Notes of spice, underbrush, plum and blueberry all flow from this medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, slightly exotic Syrah that has nice concentration and a pretty, focused style on the palate.
  • 2013 Tres Violet Magnum
Deeply opaque purple hues indicate the full extraction achieved in this vintage. The nose is heavy with rich dark red fruit, cola nut and hints of mocha. The upfront palate showcases raspberry jam, licorice, tar, and loam which typify red Rhone varietals from our Estate. Earthy tannins mix with juicy acidity leading to a generous finish that begs for wood-fired pizza, duck or lamb dishes.
  • 2015 Vin Gris Cuvee
Presenting a subtle shade or pink and orange, our 2015 Vin Gris is an intentionally graceful take on rosé. Hints of honeydew melon and red berry mingled with fresh cut citrus fill the nose.
