Located in Buellton, Lafond Winery is the reserve label created by Pierre Lafond. This label also serves as the premier label for Santa Barbara Winery. This tasting room is pouring award winning wine sourced from Sta. Rita Hills. The varietals produced under this label are estate grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. These varietals were planted by Mr. Lafond, under the recommendation of Bruce McGuire who took notice of the success experienced by Stanford and Benedict. Bruce has been head winemaker at this location since 1981 and produces over 7,000 cases of wine per year. Enjoy a tasting flight for $12 or various snacks for sales at the bar. This tasting room is scenically located at the end of Santa Rosa Road and is best as a single stop. Numerous picnic tables are located throughout the property.
