  • 2010 Agent for Change Tempranillo
Sustainably farmed in Santa Ynez and produced at Demetria winery, this is my mid-week wine. Not too much oak, easy to drink and share, this is a wine that is great now and will benefit from up to five years of aging.
  • 2013 M by martellotto Chardonnay
This wine was fermented in stainless steel and aged for seven months on the lees. Crystalline, fresh, vibrant and a wine that is perfect for summer refreshment. Pair with any salad or light fare.
  • 2014 Martellotto “La Bomba” Cabernet Sauvignon
Our newest and favorite Cabernet Sauvignon release today. Only 400 cases produced. 8% Petite Verdot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 8% Malbec is blended into the wine to make it juicy and fruity, big and tannic. This is Greg's favorite and best Cabernet to date, besting even the M Napa Cab.
  • 2014 Martellotto “La Gioia” Merlot
Bordeaux lovers will be shocked that this wine is from CA and not France! Delicious with great fruit, smooth tannins, a touch of vanilla and oak, but also an herbal component and touch of mint. One of the best CA merlots.
  • 2014 Martellotto “La Riserva” Cabernet Blend
A true Bordeaux blend, the wine aged in barrel for 24 months. This is the capolavoro from Santa Barbara and sets a new direction for Central Coast red blends.
  • 2015 Martellotto Chardonnay
The fantastic fruit and acid balance gives the wine a nerve and zest that is irresistible. Classic Cali Chard.
  • 2006 Martellotto GSM
This is a true Rhone blend of six grapes from the Demetria vineyard, a biodynamically farmed site north of Los Olivos. Frequently in Cote Rotie, vignerons will coferment white and red wine grapes to raise the acidity, aromas, and add texture to the mid-palate. This wine has touches of Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne that confer an intoxicatingly floral nose of lavender, rose, and peach blossom. The wine is boldly layered with enticing layers of spice, smoke, and umami. The Grenache adds texture and body, the Syrah delivers red fruit and velvet, and the Mouvedre brings lingering tannins and a lip-smacking finish. In the European tradition, blends are better, and California wines do achieve elegant intrique.
  • 2016 Martellotto La Rosa Rosé
Wow, just the wine for warm weather, porch sitting, pool drinking, and any time before, during, or after cooking.
  • 2012 Martellotto Pinot Noir “Le Bon Temps Roule”
Greg Martellotto hails from Texas. Not far from Cajun country, where a famous phrase most associated with "letting the good times roll" in New Orleans, comes the name for this show stopper pinot noir. Sourced 100% from the Sierra Madre vineyard in Santa Barbara County, this wine was in new french oak for 14 months. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Delicious now, the wine will be magnificent with further bottle aging. Expected life through 2024.
  • 2014 Piro Piro Piccolo Pinot Grigio
This is not a garden-variety Pinot Grigio. It’s golden, rich, and has a wonderful mouthfeel. Green apples and lemon fruits create a lip-smacking quality. This is the finest example of California Pinot Grigio you will find.
  • 2013 Pugilist Viognier
Lusty tropical notes, great lemon-lime acidity and no oak, make this wine a perfect foil for any salad, seafood, or even roast chicken. Be sure to enjoy night and day.
  • 2007 Secret White Wine
We all know wine is a unique beverage in human history. The beguiling beauty of wine lies at the intersection of art, science, philosophy, terroir, dreams, memories, and reflections. All of this experience rest in a glass. Resist the temptation to categorize and judge, and just enjoy an honest wine. What, where, when, how and why may not be as important as silently sipping. Revel in our little secret.
  • 2010 Wanderlust Tempranillo
The Wanderlust Tempranillo is sourced from a sustainably farmed vineyard in Santa Ynez valley in Santa Barbara County. The wine see 10% new american oak and rested in barrels for 18 months. This is a wonderful expression of a Spanish heritage grape in California. True varietal expression with redolent flavors of blue and red berries, cocoa, and a bitter chocolate fill the mouth. An excellent wine for any roast meat or on its own for meeting friends.
