This wine is delicious upon release, but those with patience will be rewarded over the next 5-10 years as it develops those curiously tasty toasty lemon butter and kerosene characters of aged riesling. Wine is always changing, but at bottling, Bright White is pale straw in color. It shows pure aromas of white flowers, mineral, talc, ginger, and cut limes. The mouth is focused with mouth-watering acidity, grapefruit, pear, and mineral flavors. This Riesling is awesome with exotic, spicy, and fragrant foods . . . fresh Thai green curry, duck and plum sauce, Vietnamese rice paper rolls, sashimi, and cold salads.

Dark Red shows a nose of crushed dark berries and licorice with dark chocolate, smoke, mint, and dried tobacco. Nose: ripe with juicy mulberries, tart black currants, mocha, meat, and savory cedar flavors.

Debra is light, refreshing, and crisp. We only bottled 4 barrels of this wine that smells like strawberries, watermelon rind, and red cherry.

2012 Fox Family Vineyard Grenache
Fox Family is a young vineyard, but is already showing strong terroir. It is a coolish site with great drainage that produces intense and concentrated fruit. When young, the tannins are firm and blocky, but this is what will make this wine age so wonderfully. The aromatics are exotic and spicy, yet floral and pure.

Wine is always changing, but at bottling, the Kook shows a big nose of spice, blackberry jam, and dried herbs. The mouth is rustic, yet balanced by cherry, red currant, licorice, and bittersweet chocolate flavors. The medium body and firm tannins finish bright and minerally.

Wine is always changing, but at bottling, 2015 MCS shows a nose of white pepper, herbs, leather, game, and licorice fruit. The mouth is rustic and savory-leathery, yet balanced by lucious black cherry, licorice, and bittersweet chocolate flavors. The medium body and soft tannins finish earthy.

Pale Pink has a pretty light salmon color and has a nose of spices (nutmeg, cardamom), sandalwood, and fruity strawberry and cherry notes. The mouth is delicate, crisp, and dry – plenty of strawberries, citrus, and melon with dried herb and mineral flavors for interest. Pale Pink matches up with sunny afternoon sessions with good people. Drink this wine outside. It is surprisingly versatile and goes with anything from salads to quichetogrilledveg. Check it with chilled fruits, or even bbq salmon.

2014 Potek Kick On Ranch Riesling
Green apples, sage and a hint of spice are all present and nicely compliment that fascinating mineral character specific to Riesling. Above all else, this is a wine that speaks of texture; it is crisp, fresh and steely, while simultaneously creamy, supple and generous.

2015 St. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Fermented in separate lots, we used about 10% whole clusters to build in a little extra tannin and complexity. The wine is crazy fresh, full of clean red fruits - loads of strawberries, raspberries, red currants, and cherries. Aromatically, there's lots of dried herbs and bay leaves, but the palate has lots of fresh ocean breeze acidity, along with its medium weight red fruits.

The 2014 Syrah is dark, bold and gamy, with tons of intensity and cool-climate spice. Firm tannins support a core of pungent fruit, giving the wine much of its energy and drive.
