Located in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone, Riverbench Winery is serving estate wine in urban atmospheres. We love the crowds at these locations because it makes the area feel like a day festival. This location was packed with patrons when we arrived unannounced so we are short on pictures. Look for a tasting bar with chairs and seating for groups on couches. This tasting room comfortably sits about 18 and we recommend reservations if you plan to taste in a large group. This label got its name from the estates proximity to the Santa Maria Bench. The loose fertile soil along the bank of the Sisquoc River creates unique flavors that are brought out with barrel aging. Enjoy a tasting flight for $15 or a reserve flight for $20.
