Located in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone, The Valley Project is emphasizing wine education with an inviting atmosphere. We recommend this location for new wine drinkers and first time patrons to the Funk Zone. This tasting room has an extra-large appellation map, complete with micro-climates, geology and topography. The portfolio at this location is produced by Seth Kunin, the winemaker at Kunin Wines a few blocks down. The Valley project sources grapes from five different local appellations and pour 10 different varietals including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, Viognier, Grenache, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec. We also enjoyed the hands on soil samples and varietal info-graphics. This tasting room features a tasting bar and café seating. Enjoy a tasting flight for $15. Patrons are welcome to enjoy food outside on the patio.
