Winery
Located on Industrial Way in Buellton, Bottlest is a new age tasting bar, eatery, and label. Enjoy multiple producers from local appellations and self serve automated wine dispensers. Create your own tasting flight and catch up on producers that did not make your itinerary. This system allows patrons to select the generosity of the pour; choose taste, half glass, or full glass. The dining area has friendly staff, a lunch menu, cheese plates and dinner service. Large glass windows in the dining area display the production facility at Taravant Winery. In house winery tours are available for $25. This price includes a guided tour of the facility, a tasting flight with six wines, and the creation of your own wine label to take home. 2006 Thorne Estate Pinot NoirThis elegant wine possesses fresh, bright red fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry, with subtle floral aromas of rose petal and geranium while forest floor, sage and provocative spice add complexity. In the mouth, delicate flavors of Bing cherry, strawberry and cranberry are followed by a hint of vanilla, cinnamon and dried herbs. This is a very feminine Pinot Noir with a delicate red color, beautiful acidity and a generous mouth feel.

2005 Thorne Estate Pinot NoirEach clone was de-stemmed, pressed and fermented separately in new and older French Oak barrels with minimum intervention for seventeen months. The resulting wine is an expression of the unique soils, climate and farming of our vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills Appellation.
