Winery
Located on Highway 246 in Santa Rita Hills, Foley Wine Estates offers beautifully manicured landscape and cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Barrel tastings and cheese plates are available with advanced notice for additional fees. This Winery is located on the Santa Maria Trolley route that runs May through September. 2015 Foley and Johnson Dry RoséMouthwatering aromatics of candied watermelon, citrus and strawberry kiwi dominate the nose. This wine has good weight and texture lending to flavors reminiscent of strawberry shortcake, red cherry, and rhubarb. Enjoy this refreshing rosé by itself or with a cold salad of roasted sweet potatoes, farro, hazelnuts, and feta garnished with blueberries and mint.

2013 Foley ChardonnayAromas of browned apples and vanilla bean contrast with a steely backdrop on the nose of this wine. Seared pears, lemon juice and jasmine decorate the palate, which is relatively light in body, with a strong acidity and hints of fresh mint toward the finish. This wine pairs nicely with a smoked salmon and arugula salad tossed in a citrus vinaigrette.
