  • 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon
    This is a beautifully deep colored wine with a nose of fresh boysenberry, black currant, tobacco, and clove, which is complemented with hints of vanilla and cassis. The dusty tannins provide a backdrop for the dark fruits and density of this wine. The complexity of the flavors on the palate lead to an elegant, lengthy finish which defines the balance in this wine. Strong flavors of black currant, clove, and vanilla along with a finish that lingers makes this Santa Ynez Valley Cabernet Sauvignon a winner for the main course of any meal. There will be no disappointment in pairing this wine with grilled steak with salsa verde, a beef stir-fry, or even for the vegetarian palate, a nice fried tofu with spicy ginger-sesame sauce.
  • 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon
    An intensely deep colored wine with a beautiful nose of fresh blackberries, black currant, boysenberry, blueberry, and cedar which is complimented by hints of sweet tobacco, vanilla, cinnamon, and dried herbs. The taste is rich in texture. The complex fruit flavors on the palate blend into the opulent dusty tannins for a dynamic, lengthy finish that defines the purely balanced, fresh intensity that is the culmination of elegance and grace. The king of red wine, Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect match for big, mouth watering dishes including roast beef with wine-based jus, grilled NY Strip steak with garlic butter, or pork tenderloin wrapped with pancetta.
  • 2014 Chardonnay
    This straw colored wine is flatteringly easy to enjoy. Its aromatics of green apple, lemon zest, and white peach hit you with their exuberant charms from the first encounter. The wine’s mineral and citrus propelled flavor creates a brisk acidity that tingles your taste buds. The texture is crisp, yet creamy which coats your mouth and leaves the palate wanting more. The crisp acidity and lasting mouthfeel of this Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay make it a perfect pairing for creamy soups or salad dressings as well as juicy, fat-driven appetizers such as fresh or grilled oysters. Never to disappoint with a cheese and nut platter, this Chablis style Chardonnay pairs well with a brie, blue, and cantal cheese.
  • 2013 Grenache Blanc
    A straw-colored wine is laden with bright aromatics of white flowers, peaches, green apple, and subtle herbs. The intensity of the palate brings out flavors of floral honey, citrus, green apple, and a saline minerality. The dimensions of richness in this wine are balanced by the bright acidity, creamy texture, and intense, yet clean lasting finish. The 2013 vintage gave great subtle flavors of white flowers, citrus and green apple along with a brightness on the palate which make it the perfect match for seafood such as oysters dressed in Tabasco, red wine vinegar and shallot or a crab/ lobster soup. The acidity of the wine makes it a good pairing with light meat poultry in a wine-based garlic sauce.
  • 2016 Grenache Rosé
    This rose is made up of 100% Grenache Noir grapes that are grown and picked specifically for rosé and the pale pink color and bright aromatics highlight this. The aromatics of fresh strawberries, watermelon, hibiscus and orange zest hit you with their charms at first encounter. Moderately high acidity leads to an intense palate of ruby red grapefruit, peach, and floral perfume. The salty minerality in conjunction with lees aging balance the vibrancy of this wine with hints of allspice and creaminess in the mid palate. This rose also complements most any salad- a favorite pairing of ours is a spinach and strawberry salad with feta cheese and candied walnuts, dressed with a light balsalmic.
  • 2013 Kalaš
    This red Bordeaux blend is a deep colored wine with immediate expressive aromatics that flirt with your senses. It has complex flavors of sweet, spice, and mineral that highlight the soil from which this wine is derived and can be associated to a right bank Bordeaux style. It emanates a wonderful balance. The palate shows a blend of spice, earth, blackberries, and black cherry flavors with a savory structure and great acidity. The subtle tannins show off the precision and elegance of this wine. The savory and earthy characteristics of this blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon makes for an easy combination with meaty stews, braised lamb, or even a batch of red chile chicken enchiladas.
  • 2012 Kalas
    A deep colored wine with immediate seductive aromatics that play with your senses. This right bank of Bordeaux inspired blend is comprised primarily of Merlot and Cabernet Franc with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose is lush, comprising of blueberries, pencil shavings, spice, and black cherries. The power and grace of this wine is immediate and highlights the depth of flavors which include mulberry, violet, green olives, cedar, and underlying mineral characteristics. This wine is fruit driven, yet textured and structured throughout the palate. The crisp acidity balances the complex and dynamic tannic finish. This Bordeaux blend is Merlot dominant with a backbone of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The bold herbaceous flavors and acidity from this blend makes this wine a good partner for fattier cuts such as lamb with roasted garlic, roast beef with a wine based jus or a rosemary roasted pork tenderloin.

    The aromas also exudes hints of cracked pepper, tobacco, and vanilla. The fresh taste is refined and elegant, yet playful with flavors of brambleberry, cranberry, gooseberry and pomegranate. Medium-bodied with a voluptuous, velvety and silky texture. The cool growing region and marine influence highlight the majestic charm of this wine with an elegant, lengthy finish. The smooth, velvety tannins and elegant aromatic profile of this Pinot Noir from Sta. Rita Hills lends itself to many proteins ranging from oven-baked salmon filets to feathered game-like duck breast with a citrus glaze. The earthy characters in this wine also make it match well with mushroom dishes and truffle oils.

    A medium garnet colored wine with aromas of cherry cola, rose petals, exotic spices, vanilla, and undergrowth. The taste is elegant, yet powerful, with beautiful floral and berry flavors reminiscent of cranberry, raspberry, and cherry. This is followed with deep, underlying layers of minerality. The purity and balance of this wine portrays hints of spice and cedar that coats the tongue with great acidity in the mid-palate. Integrated oak and deep, rich earth highlights the beautiful fresh fruits of the cool growing region that finishes with smooth, rounded tannins. This rich, new world Pinot Noir has aromatics of cherry cola, berries and spices. Its earthiness makes it work well with chicken roasted in its own juices or truffles, dark mushroom soup or mushroom risotto.

The medium acidity cuts through a collection of grapefruit and herbs and leaves your palate coated with a pool of minerality. The creamy texture in the mid palate is derived from months of aging on lees and provides this delicate wine with a touch of power and length in both the nose and palate. The layers of stone fruits, guava and passion fruits are blanketed by a complex and long elevated finish. A perfect pairing for arugula salad with goat cheese medallions and a lemon vinaigrette. Complements halibut tostadas with a yogurt lime sauce or even grilled lamb with lemon and dill. The special thing about this wine is its versatility with its bright acidity and creamy mid-palate it can pair with anything from pesto to shrimp.

    A deep colored wine that is bursting with exuberant freshness and complexity with aromas of violet, blueberries, and cherries are accompanied by hints of coffee and cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied, yet balanced with traces of spice, blueberries, and rose petals. The acidity in the wine emphasizes the balance of dense tannins to its elegant long finish. A unique blend of Grenache/ Syrah, and Carignane, this spicy and fruity Rhone style red blend can easily compliment an array of unique and delicious courses including peppered steak or North African dishes like tagine or couscous.

    This deep, ruby colored wine is brooding with aromatics of blackberry, blueberry, clove, black pepper, and vanilla. Full-bodied and perfectly balanced between its lively acidity and elegant structure. The dark fruit, spice, tobacco, and chocolate attributes live in its core and introduce you to its beautiful texture and weight. A lengthy finish of silky tannins entices you to have another sip. This rich, full-bodied Syrah has the tannins and structure to be able to shine alongside strong flavors and rich meals. The dark fruit and tobacco aromatics allow it to match well with grilled sausage or tuna as well as spareribs or gourmet hamburgers.

    Complex flavors in the Rhone blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, and Grenache Blanc make a match in heaven with spicy Asian and vegetarian cuisine. Although this white wine pairs beautifully with fish and other lighter flavors such as a crab salad with ginger and orange peel, it can also shine with a sautéed chicken and vegetable puree.

    “Abalone Shell” in the Native language of Samala. This Southern Rhone style blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, and Grenache Blanc shows upfront aromatics of melon, pear, white peach, and honeysuckle, with hints of chamomile. The mid-palate is perfectly balanced between a racy acidity, minerality and rich creamy flavors. On the palate this wine is complex with layers of white floral, beeswax, citrus and stone fruits. This wine highlights the freshness of the stone fruits, intricacies of lees aging and depth in the finish. Complex flavors make a match in heaven with spicy Asian cuisine. Although this white wine pairs beautifully with fish and other lighter flavors such as a grilled sea bass over chive whipped potatoes and shitake mushrooms, it can also shine with grilled pork chops and pickled carrots or a squash and zucchini linguine with goat cheese crumbles.
