Located in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto, Pali Wine has been producing small lots of Pinot Noir for over ten years. Many winemakers source grapes from the same location to guarantee specific qualities and flavors. Pali Wine breaks from industry norms and purposefully sources Pinot Noir from different locations for each vintage. Look for a full line up of white wines under the Tower 15 label including Chenin blanc, Viognier, Marsanne, and Grenche Blanc. Pali Wine offers a classic tasting flight for $12 and serves wine by the glass and growler. Wine on tap is always rotating and provides a glimpse into winemaker Aaron Walker’s behind the scene activities. Check out additional Pali Wine tasting rooms in Santa Barbara, Anaheim and San Diego.

  • 2015 Alphabeta
    This Oregon styled Pinot Noir leads off on the nose with a fresh scent of boysenberries and strawberries that swirl together with a hint of white pepper, bay leaves, pine sap, and nettles. The palate delivers a flavor of tart cherries mixed with cranberries that lay on a bed of mushrooms, black pepper, and oyster sauce. This intricate flavor finishes with dusty tannin and bright acid. The wine is red violet in color.
  • 2015 Carignane
    This big wine presents with a dark ruby color. Vibrant, ripe and intense blackberry, plum and dark cherry flavors hit the palate with tasty goodness. Notes of pomegranate and anise give way to a fruity minerality during a long and lush finish.
  • 2014 Chardonnay
    “The 2014 Chardonnay Huber Vineyard has a classy bouquet of buttered orchard fruits, charcoal, toasted bread and spice. Barrel-fermented (malolactic fermentation was mostly blocked) and aged 15 months in 30% new French oak, drink this rounded, layered, yet still fresh and lively white over the coming 4-5 years.”

    Golden straw, brilliant clarity. Fresh and balanced, this Sonoma County Chardonnay offers aromas of fresh stone fruits - white peach, crème brulee, and sea salt – with floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine. A fresh burst of acidity, followed with touches of toasty oak on the mid-palate and finishes clean with more tart acidity. Well-balanced with both minerality and a touch of new oak. Flavors of orange and lemon peel, green apples, baked peaches, brine, graham crackers and vanilla bean
  • 2015 Dornfelder
    Color is deep, dark purple - to point of being almost black. Nose gives off aromas of iron blackberries, dark chocolate, pomegranate, clove, nutmeg, blueberries, roast lamb. Lighter on the palate than one would expect given the color and density of this wine. Tart blackberries, sage, baked blueberries, clove, sauteed mushrooms and rosemary swirl about in the mouth, finishing with juicy acidity and dried rosemary.
  • 2015 Grenache Blanc
    A beautifully clear pale yellow color introduces this lush white wine. Aromas of peach and pineapple lead to juicy mango and green apple flavors. The finish is fresh and vibrant, inviting the drinker to take yet another sip.
  • 2015 Huntington
    Candied nose of sweet cherries, dark chocolate, cinnamon, ripe strawberries, maple syrup, boysenberries, toasted oak, dried thyme. Palate offers up bright red fruits, cherries and raspberries up front with earthy tones of wild mushrooms and black truffles. The mid palate swells with rich acid and flavors of baking spices (clove, mace, cardamom). Long, elegant finish with black licorice, more red fruit and hints of black tea. Ruby Red, Garnet in color, bright clarity – medium bodied.
  • 2015 Marsanne
    Nose shows candied fruits, dried apricots, fresh kiwi, dried herbs and fresh-mowed lawn. Palate shows round and full in the mouth. Peaches and honey leap forward, mingling with marcona almonds, oregano, sea salt and quince.
  • 2013 Merlot
    The nose is full of blackberries, blueberries, wet iron, fresh plum and vanilla. Hints of plum continue on the palate with fig, cinnamon, bramble, and porcini mushroom. Firm tannins throughout, this wine will soften over time and improve with aging.
  • 2013 Pinot Noir
    Bright, jewel red in color. On the nose, bold red fruit, dark cherry, hints of cinnamon, jasmine and herbs. On that palate it’s a full mouth feel with good acidity from start to finish with notes of sour cherry, espresso, cocoa supported by a nice minerality.
  • 2014 Pinot Noir
    “The 2014 Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard has lots of kirsch, spiced red fruits and loamy earth in a charming, medium-bodied and elegant style. Coming all from clone 115, completely destemmed and aged 15 months in new French oak, it’s an outstanding Pinot Noir that I’d happily drink over the coming 4-5 years."
  • 2014 Pinot Noir
    Luscious, fresh red fruits, iron, blueberry, cherry blossom, nuanced with pink peppercorn and cinnamon. Beautifully balanced and concentrated with delicate, contemplative layering; a dense package that will continue to open.
  • 2014 Pinot Noir
    Black plum flesh, earth, blackberry, black cherry, anise, black currant, green olive. Sweet intense brooding black fruit, sea salt, round tannins, long finish, rich texture framed with light matchstick toast. Reminiscent of Nuit St George.
  • 2014 Pinot Noir
    “From a top tier vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, the 2014 Pinot Noir Radian Vineyard comes from two clones, the Pommard and 777. It was destemmed and spent 18 months in new French oak. This fresh, lively, medium-bodied beauty gives up slightly lifted notes of red currants, red plums, violets and incense on the nose. It’s a little rough around the edges on the palate, but has plenty of charm and should drink nicely for 3-4 years.
  • 2014 Rancho
    “A beautifully complete and layered effort is the 2014 Pinot Noir Rancho la Vina, which like the Radian Vineyard release comes from the 777 and Pommard clones and was aged in new oak. Giving up lots of kirsch, dried herbs, earth and spice, this medium-bodied, seamless and elegant 2014 has outstanding purity of fruit and is a joy to drink. It should keep nicely through 2022.”

    Dark ruby red in color with scents of sweet toasted oak, raspberry jam and tea on the nose. The palate gives notes of iron and flint, and rich soil after a good rain rolling into hints of black tea and red currants finishing with long lasting tannins rich with acidity.
  • 2015 Riviera
    Garnet, medium bodied, classic Sonoma County Pinot Noir with aromatics of fresh light red fruits (cherries and strawberries) leaping out of the glass, backed up with baking spices and hints of fresh-picked mushrooms and black tea. Flavors of sweet raspberries and cherries combine with anise, sweet oak and white pepper. A pleasant wine to drink from start to finish – great mouth feel balanced with acidity and soft tannins which provide for a long, silky finish.

    On the nose, baked pears, fresh honey, pie crust, vanilla bean, fresh cut lemon.

    A serious wine with aromas of black currant, dark chocolate, exotic spices and black berries. Chewy tannins form its great structure carrying loads of black fruits, anise, raspberry and wisps of anise.
  • 2013 Summit
    This wine is big and dense. Blueberries, anise, dried lavender, cedar and black truffle on the nose. Loads of fruit on the palate,with a full mouth feel of currants, raspberry, iron, pomegranate and sage, followed by a long finish.
  • 2013 Swell
    Dark fuchsia in color, the nose holds aromas of blackberries, blueberries, vanilla bean and light brown sugar entwined with deep earthy notes of cedar and dried sage. The palate is filled with mouth-coating textures of dried red fruits, tart blueberry, cloves and fresh sage.
  • 2012 The Jetty
    Dark ruby in color, this wine is complex on the nose with prominent dark fruit notes and hints of violet, currants and licorice. The mouthfeel is velvety, and the flavors are laced with wild strawberries, lingering white pepper and notes of iron, flower petals and steak. A beautiful, medium bodied wine.
  • 2013 The Jetty
    Light strawberry in color, but don’t let the light bodied color fool you. A wine mostly dominated by Grenache with background players of Mourvedre and Syrah, there is a lot going on in this Rhone style blend. The nose is filled with sweet aromas of cinnamon, maple syrup, and raspberries, strung together with fresh cut flowers, white and cayenne peppers. Tight and focused the entire way through, the acid and tannins streak together to bring to life the flavors of raspberries, star anise, coriander, lavender honey and fresh vanilla with notes of roasted meats and iron.
