Located in Old Town Orcutt, CNagy Wine is the personal label for winemaker Clarissa Nagy. Sourcing grapes from Santa Maria and Los Alamos, Clarissa is creating boutique offerings for Syrah, Pinot Noir, Viognier and Pinot Blanc. The tasting fee at this location ($10) is waved with a two bottle purchase. The CNagy tasting room is popular among locals for wine and paint nights hosted by artist Laura Cherry. This location is part of the Santa Maria Trolley Route that runs May-October.     This wine has notes of wet earth, with hints of floral and strawberries (come on Pinot lovers!). The palate holds its subtle nuances closely and will continue to open up to reveal even more intense characteristics of bright fruit. It is currently showing bing cherries with a smoky, toasty finish. (Shirley Temple has nothing on this wine!)
