  • 2010 Barbera
    Bright ruby red in color, this wine has a very expressive aroma of fresh blackberries along with baking spices and just a hint of the toasty oak it lived in for nearly two years. On the palate blackberries and sour cherry dominate with characteristic Barbera acidity adding mouthwatering structure.
  • 2009 Cabernet/Merlot – case special
    This wine has a vibrant dark, ruby red rim, leading to a dark red core. The nose is filled with cherry fruit and secondary aromas of roses and violets along with a distinctive sandalwood note also present.

    On the palate, dark fruits are front and center with black cherry, plum and blackberries al in the mix. The finish brings that wood note back and nicely balanced acidity and tannin to keep the wine fresh and lively. This is a complex wine that will benefit from some time in the glass or in a decanter prior to enjoying.

    Shimmering gold in color. The nose is bright and fresh with lemon/lime zest, vanilla bean and a slight yeasty quality from its time on the lees. On the palate, crisp acidity frames flavors of fresh golden apples and pears, alongside stone fruits like nectarine and apricot. The finish is dry and mineral driven.

The wine is surprisingly light on its feet with fresh acidity and a bit of creaminess in the mid-palate from the Chardonnay. The finish is bone dry with a hint of flinty minerality.

On the palate there is more of the lemon lime citrus flavor along with some apricot or nectarine in the mid-palate. The acidity is bright and fresh and this wine finishes quite dry and crisp. This would pair well with fresh seafood dishes or with pasta and a rich creamy sauce.

    Beautiful deep red color with shimmering clarity. Ripe fruit and rich earthy aromas are prevalent on the nose. Cherries and blackberries are woven together with cedar and spice. On the palate this wine is soft and juicy with more of the cherry fruit quality coming out. Medium bodied with great balance between acidity and tannin. It should age gracefully for another 5 to 7 years.

    Beautiful deep red color with shimmering clarity. Ripe fruit and rich earthy aromas are prevalent on the nose. Cherries and blackberries are woven together with cedar and spice. On the palate this wine is soft and juicy with more of the cherry fruit quality coming out. Medium bodied with great balance between acidity and tannin. It should age gracefully for another 5 to 7 years.
  • 2009 Merlot
    This wine has a beautiful dark ruby hue. The aroma is a seductive mixture of sweet fruit and spicy wood. Layers of black cherry, plum and spice mix with a touch of new French oak to create a very enticing nose. On the palate the wine is soft with velvety tannins but maintains enough backbone (acidity) to finish crisp and clean.
  • 2012 Pinot Noir
    Rich, ruby red color. The nose is classic Sta. Rita Hills Pinot… black cherries and raspberries with a ton of that cola spice that distinguishes this super cool-climate growing area. On the palate there is more of the cherry/berry theme along with some toasty flavor from French oak barrels. The mouth feel is soft and glossy with a terrific dose of acidity holding it all together and lengthening the finish.
  • 2009 Refosco
    Deep ruby red in color. The aroma is a complex mixture of dark fruits, wood and spice. Black cherries, blackberries and plum mix with toasty oak and herbs de provence. The 2009 is rich on the palate with more dark fruits as well as coco powder and black licorice. A solid backbone of chalky tannins make for a long, age worthy finish.

    Very plush and lush, offering deep, ripe aromas of blackberries, currents, violets, herbs and smokey cedar. Beautiful floral rose petal notes show through as well. Medium in body with great fruit weight and soft but lingering tannins.

    This wine is very Northern Rhône in style, with a blast of white pepper, cherry and blackberry flavors laced with leather and wild herb notes, and the tannins are sizable.
