Located in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone, Area 5.1 is pouring quality wines in a welcoming atmosphere. This label is the creation of winemakers Martin Brown and Michael Brown, who immigrated to the United States from Australia. The theme featured in the tasting room is a light hearted approach to the brothers being "aliens." The tasting staff has been renamed the "flight squadron," and alien art adorns the walls. High stools are located along the tasting bar and booth seating is available along the left wall. The tasting flight ($14) is combination of red and white blends. Choose two pours from the reserve list for an additional $3. Begin your tasting adventure early with advanced reservations. Notice for groups larger than eight is also encouraged.
