  • 2012 Chardonnay
Aged 26 months in 30% new French Oak and 70% neutral barrels. Rita’s Crown is perhaps the single greatest Chardonnay vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills AVA. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, this wine has both the mineral influence of a cooler high altitude site and the richness of a traditional barrel fermented Chardonnay.
  • 2013 Estilo Sin Roble Chadonnay
This is one of only a handful of 100% stainless steel fermented Chardonnays from the Santa Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara. The fruit from this wine comes entirely from Rita’s Crown vineyard, a site with great natural acidity and minerality; and the wine is exceptionally clean on the palette. The wine was aged for 14 months in tank without any oak influence.
  • 2010 Jane Madison Pinot Noir
The 2010 Jane Madison Pinot comes from some older clone 667 vines in the famed Bien Nacido Vineyard near Santa Maria. It is filled with aromas of sweet red cheers and has a medium-bodied texture and elegant profile on the palate with floral overtones.
  • 2008 Jane Madison Pinot Noir
Made from clone 667 grapes from the far western edge of Bien Nacido Vineyard, this Pinot Noir has an elegance and feminine quality that captures the essence of the Santa Maria Valley. Bright ruby red with flavors of raspberry, this wine will benefit with 2-3 years of aging but is approachable now.
  • 2009 Jane Madison Pinot Noir
The 2009 Jane Madison Pinot from Sierra Madre vineyard is slightly opaque in color, and its aromatics typify Santa Maria Valley Pinot--red fruits, especially strawberries and raspberries. With soft tannins and a supple texture, this is easily the most approachable of our wines at this early stage and can be enjoyed on its on or with delicate dishes, especially seafood.
  • 2012 Jane Madison Pinot Noir
This combination of terroir allows for a beautifully structured wine of translucent red-violet color with a light rim, subtle, yet bright red forest berries, red currant and crushed thyme on the nose and continuing into the palate. Hints of fresh wild herbs, and delicate bark with a zippy acid. The finish is gorgeously floral with velvety tannins lingering on the palate. This wine has continued aging potential.
  • 2009 La Encantada Vineyard Pinot Noir
Our two Pinot Noir offerings from this vintage could not be more different. Although made in the exactly same fashion, this Clone 115 and 777 Pinot Noir from the La Encantada Vineyard brings much more power to the table with aromas of rhubarb, tea leaves, black cherries, leather, and earth. This wine has ample acidity and firm round tannins and will improve over the next 5-7 years, rewarding those with the patience to wait.
  • 2008 Mary Ellis Chardonay
Made entireley from the Bien Nacido Vineyard clone 4 Chardonnay grapes which are some of the oldest vines in Santa Barbara county. It has a natural richness to the wines yet an attractive nervous energy to it, which will allow it improve over the next 5 to 10 years. A wonderful citrus flavor and minerality.
  • 2010 Mary Ellis Chardonay
The 2010 Mary Ellis Chardonay highlights the cool climate characteristics of the Santa Maria Valley with its citrus, lemony notes and vibrant acidity making it a wonderful food wine. On the palate, a suprisingly round, weighty texture. A touch of smokiness on the nose as well.
  • 2009 Mary Ellis Chardonay
Made from Robert Young Clone 17 from the Sierra Madre Vineyard, our 2009 Chardonnay highlights the cool climate characteristics of the Santa Maria Valley with its citrus, lemony notes and vibrant acidity, making this a wonderful food wine. • 2012 Mary Ellis Chardonnay
Aged 28 months in new Seguin Moreau barrels, this wine combines the richness of a traditional barrel-fermented Chardonnay with the minerality and natural acidity of these step hillside blocks in the some of the coolest areas of the Sta. Rita Hills. This wine will continue to improve over the next decade and beyond.
  • 2012 Pinot Noir
This cool climate Pinot Noir is made entirely from clone 667 grapes grown on a fairly steep hillside plot on the Western side of the Sta. Rita Hills. This wine displays the darkest color and most structure of any of the 2012 Pinot Noirs and will reward patience as it evolves over the next 5-7 years.
  • 2012 Pinot Noir
The 2012 offering is pale, almost transparent red-violet with delicate floral notes on both the nose and palate. Subtle, bright cherry and red currant along with faint thyme. The finish is long, pleasantly acidic with delicate, velvet tannins.
  • 2008 Pinot Noir
This Pinot Nior from the Talbott family's Sleepy Hollow Vineyard near Monterey has a spicy, floral character with hints of strawberry and cherry on the nose. There is a supple texture to this wine, which should improve with age over the next 3-5 years
  • 2008 Pinot Noir
We produced only 2 barrels of La Encantada Pinot Noir in 2008. It comes entirely from the Pommard 4 clone and is aged 15 months in new Sirugue barrels. The most structured of our wines, it has firm yet round tannin and an aging potential of at least 7-10 years with a deep garnet hue and hints of vanilla, orient spice, and tea leaves
  • 2013 Sauvignon Blanc
This is a well-balanced sauvignon blanc with subtle hints of tropical notes and grapefruit. Citrusy with a lip-smacking acidity and a hint of fresh cut grass.
  • 2008 Syrah
This wine is created in a less ripe style than many California Syrahs and has a Northern-Rhone like characteristic with its white pepper on the nose and relatively high acidity.
