Located in downtown Solvang, Lucky Dogg Winery is the personal label of Brent Melville. This name refers to Brent’s lucky occupation and his rescue shepherd "Lucky." Tasting flights at this location is $10 and the dog treats are free. This winery produces estate grown Pinot Noir and Syrah at Verna's Vineyard in Los Alamos. Brent is also producing Viognier, Chardonnay and Rose made from Pinot Noir. Son of winemaker Ron Melville, Brent has been participating in vineyard management since 1989. He is credited with planting the Melville vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills when the property was purchased by his family in 1996. Lucky Dogg Winery is Brent's solo project and joins the pet friendly urban tasting rooms that make Solvang a great place to taste wine.
