Winery
Stony Ridge Winery and the Crooked Vine share a tasting room on Tesla Road. Winemaker Rick Corbett utilizes American and neutral oak for the Stony Ridge label. The Crooked Vine label features a higher percentage of French Oak. The grapes are sourced from Del Arroyo Vineyard, the Corbett’s 180 acre property near Crane Ridge. The Corbett’s are the third largest producer in the valley and grow over 14 different varietals. Enjoy a tasting flight ($10) at the standing bar inside. Groups of 10 or more must have a reservation and cost $15 per person. Included with this review is are hand-carved Bavarian oak blending barrels from the 1850’s. This location has gained recognition for red blends but we loved the Sparkling Malvasia Bianca and Sparkling Rose.
