Located in Sunol, Nella Terra Cellars is by appointment only.This is a great location for small groups and events. When we arrived unannounced, the winery was preparing for a wedding that included a shuttle bus for patrons. This location is full of Instagram opportunities, we love the large iron barrel and waterfalls. Enjoy a tasting flight ($10), waived with a bottle purchase. Catering can be arranged for groups larger than 10. Bocce ball as also available free of charge. Nella Terra is currently conducting tastings in their residence, look for a new tasting room winter of 2019. Winemaker Colin Kraine is also producing wine for Nottingham Cellars on Vasco Road in Livermore.

Current Releases
  • 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon
    This wine shows aromas of boysenberry with hints of leather, cedar and cigar tobacco. Flavors are of raspberry jam, chocolate and black pepper with a faint echo of black tea on the long finish. It is ready to enjoy now and should drink well for the next 2 to 5 years.
  • 2012 Chardonnay
    Before they were barrel fermented, these grapes were grown on the austere gravelly soils of the carefully farmed Wisner Ranch as they have for 100 years. This specially selected trust barrel had weekly batonnage (hand stirring) for the over 10 months of sur lie aging. This 100% malolactic, rich and succulent wine will go well alone or even with a fine ribeye.
  • 2012 Redded Bliss
    Some things are just better together. Like our Redded Bliss, and easy drinking blend of luscious Californian Premium reds. Yours to enjoy on your special day as you and your love come together and blend two families. But you don’t have to be tying the knot to savor its soft fruity bouquet and medium body. Enjoy Redded Bliss with a pizza, grilled meat, or vegetables. Now that’s a combination we all can toast!
  • 2013 Sauvignon Blanc
    Harvested at night, our wine has a crisp, clean acidity and perfect balance, with aromas of pear, green apple, citrus blossom and honeydew melon. Enjoy by itself, or with grilled fish, chicken, pasta, cheese, salad, or fruit.
