Located in Avila Beach CROMA VERA is part of the tasting rooms located downtown. Founded by Mindy Oliver and her husband Chris Steins, this new label specializes in Spanish varietals. Latin for “true colors,” each label is has a brush stroke matching the color of wine inside. During our visit this location had Albariño, Tempranillo, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. We love the use of color in the tasting room, it creates natural spaces that are perfect for small groups. Enjoy a mixed flight ($12) or a red flight ($15), waived with a two bottle purchase. Add a cheese or chocolate pairing for $12. Guests are welcome to enjoy the free Wi-Fi, no pets or outside food at this time.

  • 2015 Revelacion
  • 2015 Rose
This dry rosé was vinified from Tempranillo grapes farmed and picked specifically with rosé in mind. Light-hued and gorgeous, this wine is balanced with fruit and acidity.
  • 2016 Rose of Tempranillo
  • 2015 Spanish Springs
Produced from grapes grown near the ocean, this Albariño is true to its varietal nature. Aromatically layered, with depth and complexity, this crisp white has lush flavors and great mouthfeel.
  • 2015 Tempranillo
  • 2015 Tempranillo Joven
Intentionally young, this Tempranillo captures the freshness of the grapes frozen in time. Joven, the Spanish word for young, describes the style of this unique wine. Drinkable now or cellar for several more years.
