Our 2014 vintage continues to highlight the remarkable fruit off our very own Lock Vineyard. Beginning with a deep garnet color, the bright cherry aromas lead to dark fruit, currants and a hint of espresso on the palate. Incredibly elegant, the luscious finish of this classic Lock Vineyard Cab will leave you craving for more!

This wonderful Chardonnay was aged for eight months both in stainless and oak to produce a crisp and complex wine that can be enjoyed on its own or with a variety of cuisines.

Each year we use our phenomenal Lock Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon as the foundation for our handcrafted Bordeaux blend, which continues to create an elegantly complex wine. The crimson color and enticing aromas invite you to explore the harmony of these rich varietals. Dark fruit, cherry and a hint of chocolate on the palate lead to a silky smooth finish. Phenomenal now but will age beautifully - if you can wait!

Our inaugural release of the “Finis,” our wonderful Zinfandel dessert wine, was released March 2012. When barrel sampling this wine in the Tasting Room, we discovered that this truly was a special wine enjoyed not only by Port connoisseurs but also those who were skeptical of dessert wines. Made from our very own Lock Vineyard Late Harvest Zinfandel/ the Solera method of fractional blending produced a velvety smooth, non-vintage dessert wine full of fresh jammy fruit and barrel aged richness with outstanding complexity and depth. As translation implies, our Finis is the perfect “finish” to a fabulous meal!

We’re thrilled to release the third vintage of our single varietal Grenache. Incredibly full bodied, this vintage begins with a deep ruby red color and enticing aromas of dried cherry, earth and blackberries, while flavors of dark berries and plum linger on the palate with hint of spice on the finish. This wine received a Gold Medal at the San Francisco Chronicle competition prior to release so we’re ecstatic to share this wine with you!

Our 2014 Improv is a wonderful, eclectic blend of Petit Verdot, Merlot, Petite Sirah and Syrah, making this wine truly an improvisation. The vibrant color and fruit forward nose lead to a wine that excites the palate with layers of black cherry, caramel and a hint of cigar box. Beautifully balanced and complex with lingering tannins and a long finish, this wine continues to be one of our most exciting blends!

Our 2013 Improv is a wonderful, eclectic blend of Zinfandel/ Syrah, Merlot and Petite Sirah/ making this wine truly an improvisation. This vintage begins with a gorgeous purple hue and an enticing nose of dark fruit and vanilla. It excites the palate with layers of red plum, black cherry and a hint of spice. Beautifully balanced with a long, lingering finish, Improv continues to be one of our most exciting blends!

This is only the second release of our limited production Insider blend and it's phenomenal! Handcrafted for the release in our spring 2017 Insider Club, our 2014 vintage is a wonderful Bordeaux blend dominated by Cabernet Franc. Beginning with a beautiful ruby color, the enticing nose of vibrant red fruit, raspberries and a touch of oak leads to cherry cola, strawberry jam, cocoa and a hint of spice on the palate. This wine had already received a Gold Medal at the San Francisco Chronicle competition prior to release so we are excited to share it with our fans!

We are excited to introduce the inaugural release of our Insider! Inspired by our special Insider Club Members, this handcrafted Rhone-Bordeaux blend begins with a beautiful deep garnet color. The inviting nose of dark plum, vanilla and hints of anise will draw you in as these flavors continue on the palate with dark cherry and caramel. The silky smooth finish will leave you wishing for more!

For this vintage of our Petite Sirah we blended our very own Lock Vineyard Petite Sirah with Petite Sirah we sourced from the Reaugh’s Sereno Vista Vineyard and the result, extraordinary! The deep purple hue and the aroma of vanilla and dark plum lure you in. These flavors continue on the palate with notes of black currant, blackberry, baking spice and a hint of cinnamon. The velvety richness and lingering finish will leave you wishing for more!

For this release of our Petite Sirah/ we blended our very own Lock Vineyard Petite Sirah with Petite Sirah we source from the Reaugh’s Sereno Vista Vineyard and the result, extraordinary! This wine begins with black plums, blackberry and caramel with a velvety richness and spice on the mid-palate and a long, lingering finish that just keeps on going

Here at Écluse we get to harvest some of the most exceptional fruit in Paso Robles and this is evident in our newest release of our white Rhone Style Blend, Prelude! This wine continues to challenge the senses because of its complexity. The beautiful golden straw color and aromas of stone fruit and orange blossom lure you in and continue on the palate along with notes of citrus. Enjoy it perfectly chilled on a hot summer day or with a delicious pear salad or cheese plate!

Each year Rendition is our rendition of the traditional “GSM” Rhone-style blend and the 2013 vintage is a classic Rhone blend from our very own Lock Vineyard that continues to impress! Anchored with our phenomenal Syrah, the addition of Grenache and Mourvèdre bring out the best of these three varietals. The bright crimson color and savory nose entices you with aromas of dark fruit, tobacco and spice. These flavors continue on the palate with hints of dark cherry with a long, lingering finish.

Here at Écluse we get to harvest some of the most exceptional fruit in Paso Robles and this is evident in the second release of our single varietal Viognier. We usually use this varietal for blending in our white Rhone blend, Prelude, however in 2014 we found six standout barrels and decided we had to bottle it on its own. This elegant wine begins with aromas of apricot, honeysuckle and citrus notes that continue on the palate with hints of honey, Meyer lemon and stone fruit with a lingering finish. This is not your typical Viognier! Perfect to enjoy on its own but is also very food friendly.

Continuing in our tradition of making a food friendly Zinfandel/ this vintage exhibits typical traits of a wonderful Westside Paso Zin. This wine begins with a beautiful garnet color and aromas of bright red fruit and hints of oak and vanilla. These flavors continue on the palate with notes of cassis and blackberry, a full mouthfeel and an incredibly smooth finish. It’s yummy!

Continuing in our tradition of making a food friendly, fruit forward Zinfandel/ this vintage exhibits typical traits of a wonderful Westside Paso Zin. The ruby color and inviting nose of bright red fruit and hints of oak and vanilla continue on the palate with red currant and cherry notes, soft tannins and an incredibly smooth finish. It’s yummy!
