Located along Highway 46 West, Hunt Cellars is the personal label of winemaker David Hunt. This tasting room can be seen from the highway but the entrance is along Oakdale Road. We recommend this tasting room for beginners because of the friendly staff and generous pours. This location has a standing tasting bar and indoor/outdoor seating for small groups. Horseshoes and batmitten are available to patrons free of charge. Most selections on the tasting list are aged five years before they are served to patrons. During our visit the tasting room was pouring an 8 year White Meritage and ten year Zinfandel. Enjoy a tasting flight ($10) which includes 7 pours waived with one bottle purchase. Charcuterie plates are available for $7 and $14. Winemaker dinners include performances with David Hunt at the Baby Grand Piano. Check out Facebook for upcoming acts and special events on weekends.
