    Light, golden yellow colors and vibrant hues. The 2013 Arroyo Vista Chardonnay shows ripe aromas and flavors of pineapple, pear and stone fruit with roasted coffee, nuts, crème fraiche and vanilla. The classic Burgundian winemaking techniques used, including alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrel, lees stirring and extended aging, contribute to the complex bouquet and add depth of palate weight and structure. Crisp acidity balances the opulent texture, enhances the ripe flavors, and pairs with foods from light to rich. Lobster rolls, grilled scallops, hazelnut crusted chicken and late summer vegetables like pumpkin, squash, corn and peppers.

  • 2016 J. Lohr Carol’s Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
    The 2016 J. Lohr Carol’s Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is a very pale straw color, with enticing aromas of honeysuckle, daffodil, lemon verbena and grapefruit. It presents a refreshingly balanced palate of key lime and fig, followed by a long, elegant finish. Best served at 45 to 50 degrees.Pair with baby lettuces tossed with ruby grapefruit, avocado, and goat cheese, with a citrus vinaigrette. Also delicious with roasted halibut with a fresh lemon herb sauce.
  • 2013 J. Lohr Cuvée PAU
    The savory Cabernet Sauvignon works with the blue fruited Petit Verdot in this blend to showcase a delicate hazelnut-like barrel bouquet. The bright palate is dense with ripe fruit, leaving notes of blackberry, anise and coffee. Open and decant an hour before serving to open up to full expression. Delicious with grilled rosemary lamb chops with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted beets.

    The 2013 J. Lohr Cuvée POM opens up with black plum, blueberry and a barrel signature of toasty coconut. The dense mouthfeel treads soft and broad across the palate. This wine showcases the interplay between the red fruit qualities of Merlot and the blue fruit characters of Malbec.     Cuvée St. E captures the ripe, but savory side of Bordeaux style wine. The 2013 is dark in color with a deep red hue. A perfect pairing for filet mignon with shallot cream sauce or Osso Bucco (braised veal shanks) over a bed of polenta.

Whole berry fermentation with a generous use of Malbec in the blend accentuates the fine tannins, bright fruit tones and lengthy finish. An excellent pairing for cheese tortellini or herb-roasted chicken.

Those aromas echo on the palate and are complemented by fresh orange and apricot balanced with creamy texture from aging sur lie. Flavors of crème brûlée and a touch of oak can be found on the long finish.This wine can be enjoyed with a variety of dishes, such as salmon in a creamy dijon sauce, chicken with mushroom sauce, or niçoise salad with a citrus vinaigrette.

Sturdy tannins strike the palate and finish with the high-toned fruit signature that typifies the Paso Robles appellation.     The 2014 J. Lohr Gesture Mourvèdre is medium-dark with a violet hue. Earthy aromas of tobacco, coffee and beeswax open up to black plum. The bright acidity and firm texture leave a finish of black walnut and spicy cardamom. This wine is excellent with many of the specialties of southwestern France and Catalonia, such as pork roast or pan-seared foie gras. Enjoy with a platter of prosciutto tapas, dried almonds, fresh figs and aged cheeses.

    The 2014 Gesture RVG has a pale yellow color with youthful green hues.     This wine is the result of our meticulous selection of only the best botrytis-affected berries. The natural sweetness is balanced by both the acidity and palate structure.Pairs well with blue cheeses, nuts, apple tart or tropical fruit desserts.
  • 2013 J. Lohr October Night Chardonnay
    The 2013 October Night Chardonnay has vibrant, light golden hues, with aromas of peaches, tropical fruit, orange blossom honey and vanilla. The winemaking techniques, used to enhance the spicy and exotic nature of this Chardonnay, include barrel fermentation in largely one-year-old French oak barrels in the coldest corner of our barrel room, followed by malolactic fermentation with lees stirring. This all contributed to a very attractive and complex bouquet with a soft, rich and seamless texture.Shellfish pasta dishes, salmon, roasted chicken, nuts and strong cheeses.

The black fruit flavor is clean and round, leaving a rich oak impression with soft tannin and a touch of “savage” varietal character that only Cabernet Sauvignon can bring. Great for casual dining. Pair with grilled skirt steak fajitas and roasted chipotle salsa
  • 2014 Painter Bridge Chardonnay
    Pale straw-yellow in color with youthful hues, the 2014 Painter Bridge Chardonnay has generous aromas of baked apple and white peach with floral notes and a caramel toastiness. Suprisingly weighty on the palate, this medium-bodied Chardonnay provides peach and apple fruit flavors with a touch of toastiness and creaminess from the barrel fermentation. Enjoy as an aperitif with toasted baguette slices with brie cheese, or with roasted chicken or trout almondine.

    This 2014 Painter Bridge Zinfandel is dark in color with a youthful red hue. Aromas are of loganberry fruit, dark roast coffee and cocoa. This wine delivers ripe, red fruit with good palate volume and roundness, along with that unique peppery quality that zinfandel is known for. Pairs well with pasta puttanesca, pizza or grilled meats.
