Located near Coachella and Palm Springs this region has adopted the, “party in dessert attitude.” If you are visiting for the first time keep a look out for palm trees that mark the entrance to winery locations. Outdoor tasting bars with shady areas, misters and live music on weekends are common. We were impressed with the region’s attention to food as many locations have invested in bistros and upscale dining options.
