The time aging in the new oak barrels helped the wine develop aromas of caramel and pie crust, plus a bit of granny smith apple retention from the vineyard. The new oak influence continues mid-palate with distinct notes of vanilla and coconut. These flavors beautifully complement the peach and apricot stone fruits, lemon curd, and pear, which are quintessential “Sauvignon Blanc.” The depth in structure from barrel aging and omnipresent acidity strikes an alluring balance, with a long and smooth finish.Pairing Suggestion:
