Medium ruby in color, it gives up lots of chalky minerality, dried rose petal, kirsch liqueur and spice-box notes in a medium to full-bodied, polished, elegant and supple package. Bright ruby-red. Hugely aromatic scents of ripe red berries, potpourri and incense, along with a subtle smoky topnote. Juicy and penetrating on the palate, offering vibrant raspberry and floral pastille flavors that deepen with air.

We opted for about 30% stem inclusion to create the creamy texture and soft tannic structure which makes this wine not only very approachable, but also be able to age gracefully over the next eight years.
