Opening with bushels of apples, pears and white peaches, this lemon-yellow wine delivers a backing of toasty char and buerre blanc balancing its fruity aromas. The mid-palate is crisp and tangy. Textured creamy notes of fresh sourdough round out the mouthfeel, mid-weight with tension. The finish is lengthy and reveals the French oak used here. The 2015 Fraser Howard Chardonnay represents a benchmark vintage in our Chardonnay production. Since we started making wine in 07, Chardonnay has seen some major tweaks in our regimen and the overall outcome of the wines. The wine making process is a journey, and just like anything in life we have a tendency to overcompensate when we feel we need to swing the pendulum. From the richest style, back to a leaner citrusy style we went. At the end the pendulum sits in the middle, a balance of all worlds. The wine has just the right amount of richness while maintaining a balance of acid, wood and fruit all for you to have the best.Pairing Suggestion:
