It thrives in the calcareous clay soil of the West Rincon Vineyard where it displays classic cool climate characteristics of smoke, white pepper and roasted coffee. Black ruby in hue, the 2013 Bishop’s Peak Rincon Vineyard Syrah expresses aromas of smoked meat, roasted coffee, and oregano.
